Mobile Crisis Clinician
The Mobile Crisis Clinician is responsible for providing timely and effective trauma-informed prevention, intervention, postvention, and stabilization services for individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crises, as part of a larger, dynamic access and crisis team. This position is hybrid on-call (work from home, with availability to respond in the community)
An ideal candidate for this position can tolerate high-stress situations in the community.
1. A stable internet connection.
2. Availability to answer calls and respond to requests for interventions during work shift.
3. Reliable Transportation.
4. Willingness to complete trainings and continuing education requirements.

General ability to understand suicidality, trauma, substance use, and psychotic disorders in the context of crisis is paramount to success in this position. The ability to understand and practice within standards and requirements set forth by regional, state, and federal entities needed. Strong decision making and interpersonal communication skills are also important. A thorough ability to maintain one’s own mental health, physical health, and overall wellness are encouraged.

Woodlands will be willing to train the right candidate(s) that do not meet the experiential requirements in cases where exceptional understanding and ability are demonstrable in other relevant areas. Clinician will provide and receive reciprocal support with consulting supervisors, access, and mobile crisis teams
